1. What is a die-cut vinyl sticker?
A die-cut vinyl sticker is cut around the outline of the artwork rather than being supplied as a square or rectangular label. Pin Badger’s British wildlife stickers use premium matte vinyl and are precision-cut to follow the shape of each bird or animal design. The vinyl stickers are designed and made in Britain.
2. Are Pin Badger vinyl stickers waterproof and weather-resistant?
Yes. Pin Badger vinyl stickers are described as waterproof, UV-resistant and weather-resistant, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Correct application to a clean, smooth surface will help the wildlife sticker maintain its colour and adhesion for longer.
3. What surfaces can I put a wildlife vinyl sticker on?
The vinyl stickers work best on clean, smooth and dry surfaces such as laptops, water bottles, notebooks, journals, phone cases and suitable car windows. Clean and dry the surface first, position the sticker carefully, and press from the centre towards the edges to reduce trapped air. Rough, dusty or oily surfaces may reduce adhesion.
4. Are waterproof vinyl stickers dishwasher-safe?
Pin Badger vinyl stickers are waterproof and weather-resistant, but they are not currently advertised as dishwasher-safe. For the longest life on a water bottle or travel cup, hand-wash the item and avoid repeated exposure to high dishwasher temperatures, strong detergent and pressurised water. Waterproof and dishwasher-safe are not necessarily the same performance standard.
5. Can Pin Badger vinyl stickers be removed without leaving residue?
Yes. The current premium vinyl stickers are designed to remove cleanly without leaving adhesive residue. Peel the sticker slowly from one edge rather than pulling it off sharply; removal can be affected by the surface material, age of the sticker and previous exposure to heat.
